Meet the Herd

Mocha
Mocha retired from ranch and trail work to his much preferred profession as therapy horse.  He is a sorrel gelding with a big heart and big personality.  He is curious and patient and is head over heels in love with Robin.

Robin
Robin is a chestnut Thoroughbred mare who is a rescue horse.  Born on a thoroughbred farm in California, she never raced and disappears from record for several years before being rescued. She loves lessons with little kids and stoic in holding space for grief and overwhelm.  Miss mare is the undisputed boss of her pasture.  She loves treats and sucks on her tongue for long after the snack in gone, to relish the flavor.

Huey
Huey is our gentle giant, he is an American Cream Draft horse, which a is heritage breed and the only draft horse breed to originate in the United States.  He is originally from the Pacific Northwest and is usually the only horse standing in the middle of the field in a pouring rain.  He knows what he wants, but is usually on board with what his rider is asking and will do just about anything for an apple.

Angus
Angus is as beefy as his name.  He is a draft horse cross originally from Oklahoma, who came to us via Texas and is the first horse we have ever flown to Hawai'i.  He is the youngster in the bunch and is friendly and personable.
